Tebow continues to struggle with mechanics

We recently pointed out Peter King's article in the latest issue of SportsIllustrated, which features a closelook at the ongoing effort to make TimTebow into an NFL quarterback.

Among other things, King's articleshows that Tebow has been slipping into his old throwing motion during somepractice reps.

As Mike Klis of the Denver Post points out, thisfact conflicts with coach Josh McDaniels' insistence that Tebow has shownno problems with his mechanics.

We get the impression that, while theBroncos will continue to try to ensure that Tebow demonstrates proper mechanicsat the NFL level, the team is willing to accept the fact that, from time totime, he'll rely on the muscle memory resulting from thousands and thousands ofthrows made with his prior motion.

But that doesn't mean the Broncoswon't try to change him — or that they'll pretend that the effort to do soalready has been completed.
